Pros

Good people doing the work who are smart and care about our customers. The category is great and ripe for disruption.

Cons

No matter how good you are or how hard you try, it will never be seen as good enough. There is a high degree of fear that comes from the CEO who does not trust his teams. Low accountability. They just want there to be no problems. Hard conversations are kept in the background and transparency is totally missing...and this is done on purpose to keep the team in fear. Zero career growth here. Only the most senior people are promoted. Product strategy is lacking.

Pros

I joined Pipe17 in 2025 and couldn't be happier with my decision. From the very beginning, the hiring process was incredibly smooth and professional. Over the course of 2–3 weeks, I had the opportunity to interview with several team members, and each conversation left me more excited about the company. A special shoutout to Raul, the Head of People Ops, whose dedication and professionalism stood out. He ensured that every step of the process was seamless — I felt supported and respected throughout. Since joining, my experience has only gotten better. The team is fantastic, the leadership (including the C-Suite) is approachable and transparent, and the culture is one of collaboration and growth. The technology is impressive, but what really makes Pipe17 special is the people. Every day, I learn something new, and I’m genuinely grateful to be part of such a dynamic and driven team. Highly recommend for anyone considering Pipe17!

Cons

Sure, things can be a little scrappy — that's expected in a scaling company — but the energy, pace, and shared commitment to success make it an exciting place to be.

Pros

- People. Everyone is extremely smart and always willing to collaborate and help. Pipe17 is a remote first company (small office in Seattle) which could make it difficult to connect and engage with colleagues, but Pipe17 someone makes it easy. - Customer comes first. The tough decisions are easier to make because the entire company is bought into doing what's best for the customer above all else. - The industry. No-one would consider ecommerce operations to be a flashy sector to work in, but as you dive into the details it's fascinating how much impact a company like Pipe17 can make for the brands you know and love. Not flashy, but necessary and ripe for innovation. - Career growth. Hard-work and talent rise to the top at Pipe17. The potential to grow your individual career is in your hands and you feel supported by management.

Cons

- Macro economy problems that have impacted all startups the last 2+ years.
