Pros

At least you know the only way is up from here.

Cons

Horrible blame culture, lack of planning, no accountability. Questionable ethics. A real lesson in how a business should not be run, but hey, as long as the directors are getting a dividend. I would also question the accuracy of the data gathered.

Pros

Somewhat flexible work hours. Slow time at Christmas.

Cons

CEO is a narcisist. Corporate policy that no salaried employee will be paid overtime! Period! Demands by management you work overtime knowing full well there is no intention of paying it back to you - ever! If you work 40 hrs/week or 80, you get paid the same per week - so dont accept overtime. There are no benefits....none. No retirement, No eyecare, No Dental, No health, No LTD or STD, No Bonuses, No ConEd, No cost of living. There will be a promise or offer but it does not materialize. Demands will be made to stringently follow company policies but as soon as deadlines approach or a manager benefits, they abandon these policies - hypocrites. Company claims to be an elite service - companies come to them - a delusion. There is no leadership, No inspiration, No innovation. No appreciation for the extreme effort by the employees....an example of "what have you done for me lately". Bullying and name calling by senior management. Lower than industry standard wages. If you own a vehicle, they expect you to become their courier service hauling heavy equipment, pickups, deliveries, etc. Do not risk your personal insurance. Corporate designs are below par and poorly thought out. Much borrowed "tech". Favoritism galore. Underperformers are rewarded, overperformers are tasked with more, and those who challenge are labelled undesirable. Management lie directly to individuals to get what they want and then wont deliver. Untrustworthy. Bait and switch tactics. Management promote untruths and deceit - questionable reporting on documents or out right deceive. Absolutely NO time management. Micromanagement of employees. Management will take advantage of the good will of people for their own benefits. Hot headed management team. Unresponsive and uncaring HR department. In fact, they are intimately associated with management so 100% bias and partisan. This is a classic TOXIC WORKPLACE.

Staff development program, engineering site, management commitment, good safety culture, independence

Cons

Small and medium organisation, whereas I’d like to experience in a bigger organisation
