Pros

Competitive Salary The organization offers a salary structure that, while not top of the market, is fair and provides financial stability for many roles. In some departments, compensation is competitive, especially when paired with other elements of the total rewards package. Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) The PTO policy is a strong point, granting employees ample time for vacation, personal days, and general rest. The process for requesting time off is typically straightforward, and managers are generally supportive of employees taking the time they need. Remote Work Opportunities The company supports remote work, offering employees the flexibility to operate from home either part-time or full-time depending on the role. This helps reduce commute-related stress and promotes better work-life integration. Solid Benefits Package The benefits offered—including health insurance, dental, vision, and retirement contributions—are well-rounded and add meaningful value to the overall compensation package. While not extravagant, they cover the essentials and contribute to employee well-being. Workplace Flexibility In addition to remote options, the company demonstrates a general willingness to accommodate flexible scheduling needs. Whether it’s adjusting start and end times or managing life’s unpredictability, employees are often able to find a rhythm that works for both them and the organization.

Cons

When I first joined the organization, there was a noticeable sense of promise and enthusiasm despite a disorganized onboarding process. The early challenges felt manageable, and there was a belief that the company was headed in a positive direction. However, as time went on, a stark and widening gap emerged between leadership and frontline employees. Leadership often seems detached from the everyday realities of staff, particularly those in support roles, and their actions—or lack thereof—suggest a troubling level of disengagement or indifference unless money is involved. This growing disconnect has contributed to a work environment that increasingly feels toxic and unsustainable. Communication from the top is often unclear or absent, accountability is unevenly applied, and genuine support from upper management is largely lacking. The cumulative effect is a decline in morale and a noticeable erosion of trust throughout the organization. The steadily rising turnover rate is telling—not a coincidence, but a symptom of deeper, unresolved issues. What’s unfolding is not simply attrition; it’s a clear pattern of people choosing to leave an environment that no longer supports them.
