Pros
They paid a crappy salary, on time, decent benefits, but the health care premiums were ridiculous. Basically, it was a paycheck. Some of the poor unfortunate souls that work there (and are not in management) are very kind, hard working, wonderful people I'm grateful to have met.
Cons
Everything. Terrible management, awful location, horrendously ugly dungeon of a building with so little light, it will just add to the depression of the place. Passive aggressive/condescending behavior from management, who treat employees like children. For a company rooted in communications, there is none. There is no mentoring, no leadership, no encouragement of career growth or teaching employees how to advance to that next step in their career. The work is utter crap, it's not creative, it's vomit on a sign because the account team has no spine to fight for good, quality creative work and they let the client dictate whatever they want. Their "holiday party" is Mexican food in the warehouse during an extended lunch - like an hour and a half... (you can't even spring for an offsite evening event?)... but I guess that makes sense when they don't even give you Christmas Eve off as a company holiday. They are the cheapest of cheap, treat their employees like dirt, the culture is terrible, morale is so low I don't know how people can stand it, animosity is high, you can cut the tension with a knife the moment you walk in the door, and they resent people trying to change the place for the better. Fun or even smiling is highly discouraged, god forbid you try to form friendships with your coworkers to make the day-to-day more bearable. Don't even think about trying to voice an opinion or a grievance, it will create a target on your back and you will be punished.
