Pros

Not a one thing i can think of It's near the casino the seafood is good like I said it's the worst, there are no pros

Cons

Polaris is one of the worst engineering firms out there! Everyone is straight time. Even if you are over 40 hours, but they expect you to work 80 hours a week. All prospective employee must sign a waiver which is very vague. It doesn’t say anything no straight time for hours over 40. There is an extremely high turnover rate at Polaris. They are extremely quick to dismiss an employee before they can truly prove themselves (usually in the 1st week).

Pros

You can stay to yourself and work in peace most of the time. It's good to learn about the engineering side of the oil industry. You'll meet a lot of people from all over the world.

Cons

It's a full contracting type of company, they hire a lot of contractors on and then cut them loose. The retention rate is very high and really makes you uneasy working there because you could really be next.
