Firing people with one day notice and not paying severance. - Analyst Polestar Analytics Employee Review

Pros

Exposure to industry-standard tools and technologies. Can be a starting point for freshers looking to gain initial experience.

Cons

Very limited Data Engineering project opportunities, leading to extended bench periods for many employees. Project allocation often lacks transparency, and opportunities do not always appear to be distributed fairly. Career progression can be influenced by internal politics rather than performance and skills. Frequent workforce reductions create a sense of instability and uncertainty. Employees may be encouraged to resign rather than being formally laid off, sometimes with very short notice periods. They are conducting ai interviews and citing that as reason for lay-off and are also forcing people to resign so that they are not liable to give severance. Limited focus on employee development, long-term retention, and career planning. Overall culture can feel more aligned with a hire-and-fire approach than investing in employee growth. They also use their marketing team for fake reviews on glassdoor.

Pros

Nothing good so cant say anything good. Only Cons working here. Every good rating is only because they make them sit next to management and ask them to write. Even the written material is provided by HR.

Cons

They don't care about you. Work for 24 hrs for them still they will say you don't work. They will show as if they care about you but they don't.
