Pros
Good first job Flexible scheduling Cross train in positions Rushes are good prep for future jobs Learned how to use POS system registers Spanish speaking customers 50% off food, free drinks during shift!! Food is really delicious, I still eat there If you're good enough, you'll start helping train new employees pretty quickly
Cons
Wasn't trained properly- besides learning my position, I didn't learn to close/open until I actually had an opening/closing shift Closing is horrible because you don't get out until 1:30 AM Coworkers with bad attitudes I had to do parts of other people's jobs because they were lazy, or were not trained properly Coworkers that would leave for an upwards of 30 min to smoke Pay does not equate to the work I exerted every shift ($8.25) Coworkers ate food during shift they didn't pay for/wasn't spoilage Coworkers would show up late or call out right before shifts Not many benefits for part time
