Pros
I enjoy working from home and this job allows me to. I am detail oriented and it gives me something to focus on and I like delivering a nice and pretty product. I enjoy my customers and it feels good to help people. My customers tips also help me balance out the low base pay and I have some really good customers.
Cons
Low base pay. The time you put in to delivering perfect laundry doesn’t line up with the .75 a pound we are paid, especially for the large orders. You can spend an entire day on an 80 pound order and after your expenses you don’t end up making but maybe $50. It’s a lot of work. It’s hard to survive on this when inflation is at an all time high. It would be better for part time, really. Doing this full time leads to burn out also.
