Pros

Good people and a very interesting product

Cons

Everyone just came out of the military, now WLB. And that also makes them very "obedient" no free thought for engineers. PMs run the show and are afraid of push backs. When someone challenges their world view of the product it shakes them. Very very disorganized company the entire vision sits in the head of a few people.. no processes.

Pros

If you're someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and hates being put in a box, Port is the place. You get to touch so many different areas of the business and constantly learn - there's no "that's not my job" culture here. The technology is genuinely cutting-edge and the company is AI-first, not just as a buzzword. Business is growing fast, which creates real career opportunities. The culture is inclusive, open, and respectful. People are kind to each other and you feel like your voice matters.

Cons

There's so much to do and not always enough hands to do it. The pace is exciting but the company needs to keep hiring to match its ambitions.

Pros

I love working at Port! It embodies everything I love about being at a startup. Every action from each team member has an immediate impact, and I truly feel like I can move the needle. I feel seen, trusted, and appreciated. I really enjoy my teammates and the company culture. Yes, not everything is planned out 6 months in advance, and sometimes priorities change and you need to adapt. But so does the market. At Port, I feel we’re agile and able to respond quickly rather than getting stuck in bureaucracy. Leadership is a message away and welcomes every employee's ideas and feedback. I don’t think many employees can say they have that level of access and direct communication at other places. It’s one of the things that makes Port such a special place to work.

Cons

I think working on a fast paced startup is not for everyone. Hours can be longer than your typical 9-5 and processes are still not fully mapped out. Can be frustrating but also can give you a chance to help map them out and have an impact.

"I feel seen, trusted, and appreciated" - that's exacly the culture we work hard to build every day. The chaos that comes with growing fast is real, and we know it, happy it feels like opportunity rather than something negative. Zohar (CEO)
