Pros

I’ve been with Portico for two years now, and I can genuinely say that the people who keep this small-but-mighty company running truly care about their employees and their clients. That care isn’t just something that’s talked about, it’s something I’ve consistently seen in action through the way the team supports one another and approaches their work. Even as a fully remote employee, I still feel a real sense of pride, camaraderie, and connection to the company culture. Portico has created an environment where people feel valued and where collaboration and trust are a priority, which makes it a rewarding place to be part of.

Cons

At times, communication between departments can get a little lost, which can happen in a smaller company with remote teams in different locations. That said, the team is generally very collaborative and open to improving processes, and there’s a shared effort to keep communication moving in the right direction as the company grows.

Pros

Not many since PTO policy changes and micromanaging. benefits are the same or worse as other property management companies.

Cons

They just changed PTO policy, they don't have sick days so you had to use PTO and now you can't use PTO to call in sick, you can now only call in if you have jury duty, a family member dies, or you have to be in the hospital or do FMLA. So if you are sick you have to pay to go to the hospital, they will not even take a doctor's note now or you just have to show up sick to work but regionals and corporate get unlimited PTO. If you have a child do not work here they will not excuse your absence to take care of them if they get sick unless they die.
