I have a great program manager who has our team's best interest at heart. The client we work with is also great, especially being in the federal space. If your contract happens to end, they do their best to place you elsewhere.

Contract work isn't always a secure profession to be in especially today.

I never write reviews for companies but felt I should for this one. The level of communication from leadership to consultant is exceptional. I’ve been in GovCon for over 20 years and this is the first CEO that is committed to conducting one on one mentoring and strongly emphasizes internal promotions. Not having additional rungs put on the corporate ladder above you was both unique in my experience as well as appreciated across the company. I saw some previous reviews about communication and they strike me as being written by someone who hasn’t been in the corporate world for long enough to understand how PotomacWave is leaps and bounds above ANY company my associates and I have ever worked for with regards to corporate leadership and communication.

The company is committed to community outreach but it does not offer a paid volunteer/day off for me to volunteer at my son’s school, for example. Few companies do but I think that to be a nice perk.
