Pros

-If you’re very persuasive, charismatic, and have no problem being aggressive and not accepting no then this is a great position for you. -if you like commission based pay, with the possibility of extra money through wheel spins and meeting specific daily targets this is also for you. -you meet a lot of fun and interesting people

Cons

-you walk around for 10 hrs everyday going up to peoples doors in very hot or cold weather hoping that they’re home and that the worst they do is just tell you no -you’re basically trained to do a pitch to trick people into thinking that you’re with ConEd or that you’ve been leaving messages on their ConEd/National Grid to get their bill to write down the utility number and sign them up for an ESCO.

Pros

Gives you a lot of room to figure out better ways to do things, really open to new ideas. Hybrid schedule.

Cons

It’s not for everyone because it’s not typical construction project management. They are upfront about this but you can’t come in thinking this is a field heavy role.
