Pros

This company works on a variety of different project types. They have a great young group of people at the office that love the work they do. The location is in a nice area of the city and has a good office feel to it. The management team has a good handle on prices and project construction costs to limit overwork and rework. Great technology push and the most advanced software users I have worked with. There is a lot of short schedule work and turnover is very fast.

Cons

Hard working group that routinely puts in over 45 hours a week. The work has some variations, but ultimately the same teams get similar work. The style of work can be a little monotonous and at times can be very basic (based on clients). Communication within the office could be better, at all levels.

Pros

Praxis3 is an excellent organization. The firm offers a great benefits package covering health insurance premiums and the deductibles for employees. Senior management is responsive to work/life balance demands, and there are a lot of voices weighing in on company decisions from the principal level down to the associates and senior associates. The organization also offers remote work days with flexibility provided to employees as long as managers receive reasonable notice. Project deadlines are well-managed between all of the firm's project managers. 50+ hour work weeks from poor management are not the norm in an industry that is plagued by firms that cannot adequately manage project schedules and deadlines.

Cons

Some project managers have leadership styles that can be felt as more abrasive. Every organization has its quirks and difficult personalities, but this is not endemic of a broader toxic work culture. This organization expects a lot of self-drive and personal time management. Emerging professionals with less experience will need to be strong personal advocates while not being anxious about raising their hand if they need more help on tasks.
