Pros
Management is great and great opportunities for growth
Cons
Can’t think of any !
Pros
- huge on recognition - fast paced - room for growth and opportunities - schedule flexibility (depending on position) - CEO/corporate are local and accessible Overall, precision has been an incredible place for opportunity and experience. I was hired on with very little medical experience but a lot of customer service experience. They are massive on pushing for individual growth, learning, and tons of opportunities to gain more knowledge and experience in other areas. You just have to ask, and show genuine effort and they will give you the opportunity to grow and learn. The fast paced world of health care does not fall short here, but if you enjoy a busy day, with problem solving, and genuine patient care Precision is great at that. The schedule is packed tight, patients are unique and some require a bit more hands on help! They’re big on recognition- not only site wide but also company wide, with mass emails congratulating others on their big and small success! There is a lot of support from managers, and from the more “corporate” side. Speaking on the “corporate side” with a company of this size, and continuing to expand- anyone with some abbreviations next to their name is accessible, visible, and approachable. Which coming from large corporate jobs- this is almost unheard of. Now, as it grows this may change and that’s understandable. but the matter of fact is, it’s really awesome to see your CEO pop in here and there and show genuine care about how things are running. I can’t imagine it’s an easy job running multiple facilities processing thousands of exams a day; and still finding time to say hello. As someone who is in school, they were very flexible with my schedule - but that may depend on your position/techs/PRN/front desk/etc. it varies but overall they’re pretty understanding! overall the workforce is genuine, understanding, receptive, and accommodating. I’m not joking when I say this is the first job i’ve ever had that after a year- i can confidently say I LOVE MY JOB! And i have this whole time!
Cons
Growing pains; - Departmental communication issues - Overbooking/overscheduling When we get to the nitty gritty, and the cons; the worst i can think of are just the issues between scheduling/authorizations/patient response/etc and I can’t imagine any health care facility not experiencing these same issues. And 9 out of 10 times it’s just a tad bit of problem solving, some self-sufficiency, and communication and it’s resolved. On top of that I know management and departments are honing down on these issues and constantly reworking their training efforts to correct and mitigate any issues. Other than that, I seriously can’t think of anything that is a major detriment to this company or position- that you wouldn’t experience in any other job overall. It’s a local company expanding its doors and with that comes growing pains, but don’t be mistaken that it isn’t being addressed or communicated. The entire managerial staff is open to critique, feedback, and any solutions you may have.
