Pros
I have been with PredictHQ for more than 3 years now. This review is based on my personal experience and growth i have had in this company. This was my first real job in NZ. Everyone is nice. You feel so welcomed and safe in your comfort zone. Below are few things I'd love to highlight from my experience: - PredictHQ understands the importance of employee engagement as well as safe space for the employees. There's so much diversity. You really enjoy interacting with different people/teams everyday and be appreciated for your individuality. Work culture strongly focuses on performing well together rather performing better than each other. Leaders really care about their teams. Mentorship is fantastic! - There are no barriers between management and employees. Best part of working at PredictHQ, you are able to share your experience and opinions with pretty one anyone from your team leader to the CEO of the company. Yes!! You read that right. Senior management loves to talk, hear your views and take actions where required. There's no micro-management. People simply love taking care of each other. PHQ work culture condemn unhealthy work pressure by believing in quality work than quantity of work. Employees are quite encouraged to take breaks to prioritize their overall health. - Leaders and employees are given various internal/external training opportunities to excel in their roles. Management training is another nicest part of this initiative. This helps managers to understand their teams even better and help them reach their potential. - People are recognized for their amazing work on daily basis. Recognition is not limited to the amount of work or level of work done by individuals and teams. Every little thing counts. Its beautiful to see how the work culture credits its business success to each individual. - This is one happy place to work and grow. I have personally loved working here. This business has come long way from a small start up. Lot of things changed positively including number of employees. But one thing that stays consistent is the amount of willingness to keep getting better 'together'!
Cons
I cannot think of any cons. The fact is no workplace is 100% perfect. It requires team work and common goal to achieve so. We should always give others some benefit of doubt just the way we expect for ourselves. Regardless of job titles - senior or junior - everyone has their journey of accomplishments and learning in their own ways. Don't make judgements based off one sad experience. Be part of this workplace and put those judgements to rest! Believing in your hard work, a good leader and healthy work environment can help you reach your full potential. I prefer to think of PHQ this way - "Outstanding Leaders go out of their way to boost the self-esteem of their personnel. If people believe in themselves, it's amazing what they can accomplish". - Sam Walton (Founder of Wal-mart stores)
