Pros
It'll feel great to walk out the door for the last time. Hard to beat that elation.
Cons
This is the MOST unprofessional place I have ever worked. Management is thoroughly incompetent and supervisors call their employees stupid (not in front of that employee but within earshot of other employees. Nice). Then upper management says to get thicker skin. Wage promises are not kept. Schedule changes are frequent and short notice. Overtime is the expectation. Work is not appreciated. People are laid off at will. Putting in my notice was the happiest day of my life. And then management will ask why you even come anymore. Or they'll call you in early and berate you in front of the entire lab and tell you to never come back. Communication was abhorrent, management ignores you or tells you they're too overwhelmed to answer questions. Instead of learning my name, papers were shook in my face to get my attention. Management could not own up to any wrongdoings on their part. A joke was made once that I didn't know who my supervisor was. But I legitimately had no idea. Premier Biotech has also been described as "a boat being sailed as it's being built" by the upper management. That's not the way to sail a boat. That's the way to sink. Procedures are figured out as they go and are constantly changing. Then when you don't magically know about these changes, you get asked if they can tell you what you did wrong. How thoughtful. Constructive criticism is one thing. Scorn is another. They expect you to only have Premier Biotech in your life and don't appreciate the adjustments you make to bend over backwards for them. Management and their communication are so disorganized and poor.
