Pros

small company that varies greatly from one site to another - if you work at a small site with no work, then its great for you

Cons

no organization. constant lies from upper management. shady work ethics because if the client pays, then the company will share all non work related information with them- they were sued and settled quickly when this made known, but it continues to happen in almost all sites. Be extra careful because payroll deductions aren't accurate and they will the give you the run around. Company and management favors whites over colored employees and then puts up a fake front to show otherwise. This is why they can not hold on to good employees. If you interview with them you will realize they get employees from the bottom of the barrel- good employees with actual skills and talent will leave soon.

Pros

Great people to work with and that makes all the difference. Great company to work for. They value work-life balance. Salary increases yearly. Earn more PTO the longer you are here.

Cons

Procedures aren't very clear on some things and change often.

Pros

Great company to work for with strong leadership support and a team culture that genuinely cares about employee wellbeing and growth. Premise invests in continuing education, development opportunities, and provides great resources for both professional and personal health. I’ve especially appreciated the focus on whole-person wellness through programs like Sonic Boom, which makes healthy habits fun, engaging, and community-driven. Leadership is approachable, supportive, and encourages innovation and collaboration across teams.

Cons

As a large healthcare organization, some systems and processes can feel a bit outdated, especially with how quickly technology and the fitness industry evolve. That said, because Premise is a healthcare company, everything has to go through extensive vetting for compliance and safety, which is understandable. There are also a lot of policies and standardized procedures that don’t always perfectly translate to the fitness side of operations since many are built more around healthcare models. The environment can be stricter at times, but leadership is generally open-minded, willing to listen to feedback, and continues to evolve as the fitness and wellness division grows.
