Pros

Plenty of work. Tons of available OT even though they say there isn't. PRS is typically operating a day behind.

Cons

The upper mgmt lacks the ability to make a decision. Mid-level mgmt lacks the permission to make a decision. I was quite embarrassed to be working for PRS at times. If any of it's clients ever actually found out what they were paying for PRS would be out of business. They have no business ethics and oversell the companies ability and expect it overworked and underpaid employees to make them shine when their feet are to the fire with a client who threatening to walk.

Pros

Extremely flexible scheduling which allows for a good work/life balance Direct manager is very responsive Great variety of work to be done or the option to do just one type of work regularly 401k match

Cons

Pay is state minimum wage No longer paid for drive time since Acosta Group merged Crossmark with Premium Mileage payment is minimal- 30¢/mi from location to location excluding travel from and to your home location Working Advantage benefits for pt employees is terrible (rated a D+ with the BBB) No direct opportunity to move up in the ranks yet it's supposedly encouraged Company tends to hire pt to save itself more money and encourage pt employees to work ft when short-staffed and during the summer and holiday seasons Even district managers/direct field supervisors are pt and don't make a living wage No company-issued equipment Estimated times for service orders are often inaccurate because real world experiences (such as busy stores and customers interrupting your work) aren't factored in Often assigned survive orders for work I haven't received training for Most training is not hands on but you do learn as you go especially if your do the same types of service orders regularly
