Very willing about learning/adopting new technologies to invest in. Technical staff are given a lot of freedom in implementing things.

Does not research competitors and when competitors are chosen over them, would dismiss it as the competitors do not know what they are talking about or own offerings are way better. Relies too much on past successes and does not appreciate the effort it takes to deliver working, quality software from scratch; does not want to start developing technology unless someone orders a (paid) project then expects everything is developed and works in less than three months.

Nowadays less on R&D and more on Software engineering projects. So in case someone is looking for a research oriented job then its not the most exciting place for sure. For software engineering, give it a chance, you may like it here !
