Pros
Good opportunities. Management will usually hear you out if you bring something to their attention. Great training reimbursement and support for education and training. Fun environment. They reward hard work - if you work hard they offer spot awards and recognition.
Cons
Sometimes pass over internal (or external) people who are most qualified to hire friends from outside the company. Play favorites with the friends they bring into the company.
