Pros

- CEO is one of the greatest leaders I’ve worked for and is incredibly humble. His passion for his vision shows and it’s clear he is in this business to make a positive impact on customers and not about turning a quick profit. I wouldn’t say the same about the rest of the C-Suite leaders though. - Made some good friends there and people are easy going. - Fantastic work/life balance

Cons

They seem to have a habit of firing people abruptly without warning. Every week there is an announcement that someone or a few people were let go and they ‘wish them all the best in their next endeavours’. People disappear constantly and there is a lot of fear of going into work every morning worrying about who might be next. People are keeping their head down to do what’s asked of them but are afraid to push back when they’re at capacity or to challenge ideas (I thought ideas were welcome but apparently not). They aren’t doing mass RIFs to avoid attention but they sure are doing a lot of quiet firings. I’d be weary about joining the GTM team. Pay is below market (a 4-day week is the golden handcuff) and they don’t invest in your professional growth so don’t expect to get any coaching or mentoring — the leaders are more worried about saving themselves. I had high hopes here but have been severely disappointed in the lack of execution to improve things around here. You are often fending for yourself. Sadly this is the most disorganized company I’ve ever worked for in my entire career. And to think, I joined because they were a sustainable company and wanted to find a long term fit but once you get in bed with them, well….

We’re definitely on the same page about Aman - he is amazing!! Literally the light of the Procurify world. I think that’s where our alignment ends though, unfortunately. I’d love to take the opportunity to give a little context into some of your comments. Procurify hasn’t done any RIFs or layoffs of any kind, in fact we’ve grown in size and continue to do so. You are correct in that people have been let go. Performance management is hard, but absolutely imperative for a company to succeed. The need to have specific skills and behaviours present in specific roles to create a reliable delivery of results is not easy. The people who were let go were not in the right roles, and/or were not able to meet performance expectations. It's a reality of running a business that none of us particularly like - so we strive to be as transparent throughout the process as possible, be compassionate with feedback and options available… but like I said, performance management is hard. There’s no doubt that we haven’t done everything perfectly - but we can say with total sincerity that we’re trying our best and are learning every day. I hear that we have things to improve - communication, alignment, and so much more! We’re a remote tech company in scale-up mode. If this was easy every company would succeed. This is why we need and wildly value people who thrive with problem solving, giving feedback even when it's tough, and are capable of holding themselves and each other accountable (without playing the blame game) – all to keep pushing us forward and get better every day. I’m sorry if your experience here didn’t track to this, and you’re always welcome to reach out to Aman or the People team if you’d like to talk through anything in more detail. Feedback is always appreciated, so thank you for that as well.

Pros

I’ve been with Procurify for three years, and the evolution I’ve witnessed has been incredible. We’ve matured from a scrappy team into a sophisticated organization, yet we’ve managed to keep our soul intact. For me, the standout has been the culture of psychological safety. It is a space where I’ve been able to take big risks, evolve in my career, and feel truly backed by those around me. The cross-collaboration here is the real deal—it doesn’t matter what department you’re in, it feels like we are all one team pulling in the same direction. It’s also rare to find a senior leadership team that is this genuine. They don’t just talk about caring; they follow through with consistent action. It’s been an exciting journey, and the people truly make the experience.

Cons

The "scale-up" life isn't for everyone. Because we are maturing and evolving so quickly, you really need to be someone who is agile and flexible. If you prefer a highly predictable, static environment where nothing changes, you might find the pace challenging. To thrive here, you have to be comfortable with the "build" phase and enjoy the energy of a company that is constantly leveling up.

Pros

- Exciting and innovative product, supported by a strong company culture that enables employees to grow and thrive in their roles. - Leadership and management genuinely care about people, actively investing in creating a positive work environment with meaningful opportunities for learning and development. - Remote-first culture offers great flexibility, complemented by thoughtfully planned off-sites that foster connection and team alignment. - Highly collaborative environment with humble, approachable leadership that promotes psychological safety and open dialogue across the organization.

Cons

The organization operates at a very fast pace with high performance expectations and a strong focus on AI-driven innovation. While this may not suit everyone, it presents a significant opportunity for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and are motivated to make meaningful, high-impact contributions quickly.
