Project World Impact

Is this your company?

Definitely a scam. - Nonprofit Coordinator Project World Impact Employee Review

Pros

No one I worked with was directly unfriendly

Cons

- THE REVIEWS WERE WRITTEN BY MANAGEMENT. Trust me, I’ve read them all, almost all positive reviews were written by the same people. It is NOT ok to make your ratings higher by lying to people. - as great as their products sound, many of them never actually do anything for the nonprofits. - $15 an hour is not worth how many times you’re going to feel awful telling a nonprofit there’s nothing you can do. - There is just way too much discussion about religion at work, it was uncomfortable and though no one was mean about it, as a non-Christian I felt out of place and that should never be something to worry about at your job. Seriously, even the nonprofits (new nonprofits) would ask if being Christian was a prerequisite to being on their site.

Pros

After thinking about it ... I think you would be hard-pressed to find a company that cares about their people and their clients as much as PWI does.

Cons

Sometimes tough decisions have to be made and people are offended

Pros

PWI has an amazing company culture where your hard work and results are truly valued. The individuals working at PWI are motivated, mission-driven, and highly skilled. I've been with the company almost 6 months and their focus on people-first is second-to-none. The HR staff is so personable and management is understandable and generally quite reasonable. I've been very impressed with the high skill level of our marketing team and design team. It's a fun and fast-paced environment to work. There is always something that is urgent for our clients and it's a lot to manage at times but management will always be flexible when life comes up.

Cons

The compensation package is on the low side, especially compared to industry standards. They want to invest in the organizations they work for, but at the end of the day, my job needs to pay an adequate value for the quality and quantity of the work. On the flip-side there are other benefits that are invaluable, i.e. flexible work schedule, grace and understanding, great opportunity for learning
