Pros

Big $50/week raise really helped when losing hundreds/week based on the new pay program.

Cons

Family First - Our CEO has room for more family now! Here We Grow - the nation's unemployment line due to our terrible rates for our talent, terrible pay for recruiters, sales and CRMs. Nothing but empty platitudes that Prolink now can't even hide behind. No Leadership as they are hiding from the people who made them Billionaires or they're worthlessly sitting around some fake camp fire having an inner circle, inside joke chat! Technology that doesn't work, no motivation to succeed, no guidance and absolutely no idea how to evolve past the gift Covid provided to get this dismal excuse for a company where they were and are no longer. Stop paying 2.5 M for the CFO's house, catering daily lunches and snackies for the corp crew and recognize that cutting the legs off of your Sales/CRM/Recruiter workforce is only going to net you a significant loss of job placements and a seriously devalued company for when you sell the remainder of this S Show.

It it unfortunate that your experience with Prolink has not been a positive one so far. As mentioned in some previous reviews, the entire healthcare industry experienced unbeliavable growth over the last 3 years due to the pandemic. In present times, we are now coming off this historical high. As a result, we've had to make some tough decisions as an organization. With this, we have and will always make the commitment to be vocal about changes and transparent about our path forward, just as oue CEO did in our last company call. Compensation is something that we assess annually. This is a routine practice for many organizations. Compensation is often decided on the specific job and market benchmarks which are determined by several factors, including; competitor pay for the same roles, industry changes, geography, company size and other benefits being offered in addition to pay. Extensive data and benchmarks are used to make decisions related to compensation and pay packages as we know this can create strong impacts for families. This is not a matter we take lightly and where possible, we always operate in the best interest of our employees and the future of the business. Our leadership is always thoughtful of the organization's long term success for all involved. At Prolink, we want to make a positive and lasting impact on the world. Technology is a pillar of the buisness that we are heavily investing in right now. We are looking at more efficient ways to drive production in a cost effective way. When we are cost effective, such as not catering lunches any longer as we have done since January, we can invest more into the business. Currently, we are putting resources towards our new ATS and Talent App. We are also looking into making things more functional by reducing the amount of manual work so we can give time back to drive production. While we have programs in place for long term support or life events, including EAP & FMLA, work-life balance and time management are unique to everyone. Inside and outside of the organization, associates' wellbeing matter to us, and our team wants to help. If you are unsatisfied with any part of your position or situation, we encourage you to reach out to HR or have a discussion with your manager so we can assist.

Pros

I did not have a positive experience with Prolink or Unique Harris(Recruiter)

Cons

I want to share my experience to provide transparency for other nurses considering working with this agency. I was presented with a Michigan assignment and verbally accepted the initial offer, which was quoted as $4,739/48 hours plus a $1,246 stipend. Based on this agreement and reassurance from the recruiter that onboarding expenses would be reimbursed(around $500 for fingerprinting, getting the out-of-state license, state required education & out-of-state background check with me using my car to fulfill fingerprints), I proceeded with credentialing requirements and incurred out-of-pocket costs. Shortly after, the compensation structure was changed multiple times ($4,739 including stipend, then $4,360.50/48 hours, and ultimately $3,439/36 hours), along with changes to the schedule and start date. Despite repeated requests, a written contract reflecting the original terms was never provided. Due to these material changes, I was unable to move forward under the revised conditions. I requested reimbursement for the expenses incurred in good faith based on the original agreement and direction provided. This request was escalated to a supervisor, HR, and company leadership, and was ultimately denied. I am sharing this experience so that other clinicians can make informed decisions and ensure that written contracts are secured before proceeding with credentialing or incurring expenses. While I understand that crisis assignments can change, I encourage transparency and consistency in communication, especially when clinicians are being asked to invest time and money upfront.
