Pros
Good location, good start up company. Prefers to hire veterans.
Cons
Pay is unequal - females do get paid less by about 50%. Insurance is not offered & no reimbursement of any kind. Owner is unable to adapt to change. Post It notes are not allowed. Paper clips are also not allowed. Owner has expectations of computer software that do not have bearings in reality. I was asked to do tasks over & over with the expectation of a different result. As an admin, I would be asked to do a task to turn around & be told that what I'd done was all wrong because I was missing information. I would have to start over many times -- this was almost a daily occurrence. There came times when during a staff meeting the owner would become noticeably upset with the manner in which I was clicking a mouse or making notes. (Yes, the owner became annoyed with how I clicked a mouse. Literally.) During one meeting, the owner took the laptop back from me, deleted what I had type & re-wrote the notes in his own words -- the problem being that it was exactly what I had type. It was probably the most humiliating staff meeting I've ever been subjected to.
