Everything about this company is antiquated, from the technology to the employees. The median employee age is probably between 45 and 50, many of them lifers with no real work experience outside of Prudential. If you're up-and-coming, don't expect much mobility unless you stick around for a few years of you're in the actuarial program.
Also, everyone at the Roseland office seems miserable. I heard that a few years ago an employee committed suicide during work hours. If doesn't really help that life insurance is so depressing and that there is virtually no morale or motivation among an aging workforce.
