      Pros

      Work with great people within your own club. Good holiday allowances.

      Cons

      Poor upper management. Regional and above. Always changing bonus structure and setting unrealistic targets to make bonuses hard to achieve. Doesn’t have a people culture anymore and it’s all about the money. Blame is passed down to the bottom of the chain (gym managers).

      Pros

      The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

      Cons

      Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.
