Pros

Lots of room for growth; great opportunity for learning. Great use of chat and video conferencing solutions mean remote employees are still very connected. Plus, who doesn't love chickens?

Pros

Small, family owned business. They have a flexible work policy allowing you to choose your own location, hours, and schedule as long as you are able to accomplish your work. You earn paid time off from the first hour you work. In addition to the Paid Time Off, you have 8 paid holidays. The owners are very interested in what employees have to say and work hard to give employees the resources and authority needed to do their work.

Cons

It is a small, family owned business, so they are not able to offer everything a large corporation would. There is no corporate ladder to climb. Health insurance is not offered because the employees choose to have raises and other benefits. The managers are the owners. Instead of hiring a professionally trained manager, the owners work the business and are still learning how to manage a team. It is a very seasonal business that is trying to maintain level staffing year round, so taking care of customers is always more important than other tasks and roles you may have.
