Great place to learn from a good technical stack, poor work life balance and pay - Anonymous employee Pushpay Employee Review

Pros

Some teams are tight knit and supportive of one another. There is a strong culture of learning and allowing others to learn. Flexible hours when needed. The technical stack is incredibly well built and managed, you can learn a lot about doing things right at the start. Many of the people in engineering management positions are kind hearted, generous and supportive.

Cons

People come first is stated, but not upheld. Teams are worked incredibly hard, and there is high turnover of engineers who are made to repeatedly meet ridiculously tight sales deadlines. Pay rises are few and far between, and the performance review process is a standing joke because it changes every single year so you cannot compare your results. The flexible hours and working from home benefits should be taken with a grain of salt - they are highly regulated.

Pros

Individual coworkers are amazing. People believe deeply in the mission of the company and work hard.

Cons

Compensation is not where it should be considering the office locations and lack of remote work options. Hiring and promotion is very political. Processes are extremely inefficient, so "running lean" just becomes "overworked and underpaid", especially with current roles not being backfilled when people leave.
