Pros
- Unlimited PTO (though realistically like 4-5 weeks which is still nice) - Great team members usually and decent work life balance - From 2020- late 2021 there was great management (Sr Director of CS is still great)
Cons
All the reviews around layoffs and management replacing employees with cheaper offshore labour are 100% true. My personal experience echoes the sentiments of many others: After the 3rd round of layoffs on October 1st 2023 a few of us were scared we were next. So (newer) management thought they would calm us down with a 7k bonus contract stating if we stayed at least until March 31, 2024. All of us ended up signed the contract. However, come mid-February 2024, I found myself abruptly let go, *without cause* and to add insult to injury, the promised bonus was summarily denied. Moral of the story? The new Q4 management's word is hollow, and they will let some of their best people go without warning. If you are interviewing it's imperative that you inquire about Q4's track record with layoffs and ascertain the level of job security. And if you are offered a job seek legal counsel to meticulously review the contract to protect yourself if you are let go.
