Pros

Pay is OK but that's when you start, most years there is some reason or other why there is no inflation rise, so you fall behind over time. You can claim 3 days free training a year but if the course is 5 days you might or might not be in luck.

Cons

There is no bonus and most years there is no rise, when there is you are told not to tell anyone else, so very little transparency, and does not lead to a great team ethos. Back in the 90/00's QA was a byword for excellent training and facilities, these days owned by VC it's about maximising profit regardless. Company makes lots of money but it's never enough. If you want to work somewhere your loyalty is rewarded then look elsewhere. There is no compensation when working from home, no contribution to heating, broadband, electricity nothing, they say you are saving on commuting costs.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We’re glad to hear you appreciated the initial pay and training opportunities, and we understand your concerns about long-term compensation, transparency, and the sense of team connection. We know that consistency in pay progression, recognition, and open communication are key to employee satisfaction. While business decisions are influenced by many factors, we acknowledge that perception and clarity around those decisions are equally important. Your comments about transparency and the impact on team morale are being taken seriously. We also appreciate your feedback about remote working conditions. As the nature of work continues to evolve, we are actively reviewing our approach to ensure it's both fair and supportive, including how we recognize and address the needs of our remote workforce. Your final point is well taken—our people are our most important asset. While commercial performance is necessary for sustainability, it should never come at the cost of employee wellbeing and engagement. We are reflecting on how we can better balance these priorities and reinforce a culture where loyalty and contribution are truly valued. Thank you again for your honesty, and we wish you continued success in your career.

Pros

The skills platform developed by the former Cloud Academy team was innovative and well-received by customers.

Cons

Since my voluntary departure, the company has proven to be unreliable and somewhat cagey. Under the terms of their articles of association and ISD, they had 12 months to repurchase my preferred shares. Nearly 18 months have passed, and they refuse to repurchase my shares or communicate any reasons for the delay. One might conclude that they are dealing with financial difficulties.
