A barebones 401k program that offers a meager match. Too much organizational silo'ing and institutional confusion. Nobody REALLY knows what anybody else does except if they work closely. Poorly defined processes and a deference to senior staffers breaking any process there is in place because they're just too important; an HR department that doesn't even have a general number; opaqueness around promotions; a performance management system ("conversations") that, without providing ratings and just narrative assessments, seems largely designed to avoid people pointing to strong annual assessment to justify promotions. A non-equitable bonus structure; only people within certain salary bands are bonus eligible. I've never encountered this before and for a company that prides itself on equity that's pretty hypocritical. An obsession over surveys, analyst reports and a huge emphasis on sales to the point of sidelining every other concern. Oh, and lastly, an employee survey that doesn't ask a really obvious and tough question: Do you feel fairly compensated?
