Pros

Hires ex-cons Pay is decent for CSCs, but not nearly enough to put up with corporate. Pay is decent for the tank washers, too. At the actual facility level, as long as corporate isn't here, it's not too bad- relatively chill environment, relaxed dress code, manager is relatively lenient with PTO etc. Tank washers can be a handful but outside of that, OK. Good work life balance for CSCs and depending on the facility, facility managers, too. PTO is alright but no sick or personal days- if you're sick, they take a PTO day. Get 2 weeks of PTO after 6 months of employment, get (not great) benefits after 90 days. 401k is good, they match 3% at 100%, and match an extra 2% at 50%. Safety procedures, sans the elaborate paperwork, seem pretty on cue- lots of training on safety constantly and corporate will go out of their way to accommodate safety needs. (not in Tampa)

Cons

Lots of problems for a company that wants to grow before they even have their current acquisitions under control: First off, little to no formal training, and the person I was told to contact for help went on maternity leave. Facility manager had very little training as well (at least in regard to billing) so, through no fault of his own, couldn’t help.Through some trial and error, figured a lot of it out. IT issues are abundant… First, corporate works off of Windows and then sends everyone at facilities ChromeBoxes/Bases. Half the documents they send out are incompatible with Google Docs/Sheets, and if you change it so that it is compatible, it doesn’t print properly, and you can’t fill out forms on the computer which leads to a waste of paper, and poor copies of copies when you need forms signed by 5 people. Corporate micromanages everything. You have to fill out a report for anything you do and then get every manager above you to sign off on it. Whole company is desensitized to e-mails from corporate because of this. They run reports, don’t put any critical thinking into these reports or the data they represent and just automatically send them out every day and ask for “explanations”. A lot of them won’t even do small things such as sort large excel files by terminal so that you can find the information pertaining to you, let alone only sending you the information that is relevant to your terminal. They don’t follow up on anything, they barely respond to ANY (even important) e-mails, they don’t answer their phones, they don’t answer questions, but they want everything done their way. Billing is corporate’s number one priority but there is no support for billers. Information regarding customer changes is almost never communicated. Bill to requirements are haphazardly updated in the company’s system and are usually outdated. New procedures are implemented constantly and without warning or training. They also aren't tested properly prior to implementation. I can't tell you how many times in the past year we've had to completely change everything we're doing. I’d suggest finding another company to work for if you like your expectations to be reasonable/realistic.

Its a job close to my home & they hire anybody. Also didnt drug test me
