Pros
This company can be a great opportunity to get into the world of Technician work and Fintech as they are working to provide channels for growth and opportunity, however they expect you to be All-In and involved completely in the very inclusive and click-ish company culture. This would be a great job for someone starting out who did not have a family or alot of personal responsibilities outside of work, and the work/life balance is very unbalanced, leaning heavily towards work, and very light on the life side. Sean, Joe and the Original Executive team were awesome, but when Joe stepped down and they started bringing in new executives certain responsibilities were handed off to those executives and the changes starting to be made after this started making me feel like I was no longer valued as an employee. It shifted from a "were all in this together" mentality to a "you work for us, and we control you" mentality.
Cons
The vehicle program makes you purchase a vehicle in your name, which was explained very clearly when starting. They pay an allowance for your car payment. However, I wish this company (as most do in the industry) provided a company vehicle as the vehicle becomes wholly your responsibility, which makes it incredibly hard to leave the company without an increased salary to cover said car payment. Also, when I started the company was in the middle of many growing pains, and working on standardizing training and procedures, which is normal with a growing company. But the small company benefits and values began disappearing more and more during my time there. In my last company meeting the new COO made a comment "We want you to drink the Kool-Aid" that stuck with me and made me start questioning the direction of the company and the expectations of the workforce. Also, I was the only technician in my coverage area, and each member of my team had they're own personal, expansive coverage area. Instead of using a team to split a coverage area together, and rotate shifts. This makes it incredibly hard to handle time off as the rest of the team is now required to handle a full extra territory instead of just covering an extra shift in their normal territory.
