Pros

- Depending on the project you get assigned to the work can be manageable - If you're one of the lucky people who get to work remotely it's nice also - It can be slightly helpful in introducing someone to the QA field - Some of the mangers and leads are nice

Cons

- No raises for about 2 years (with an already horrible starting pay) - No bonuses for about the same length - Very little in the way of promotion opportunities (Maybe 3-5 in the past couple years) - CEO will talk about layoffs without much remorse and give a whole short story as to why they can't give cost-of-living raises - While lower management and leads can be nice, there's a noticeable vibe that all the higher ups see their employees as replaceable - Some leads don't seem to do much of their job and leave it up to the testers sometimes and some of the Project Managers come off very stand-offish - While it's a good entry point into QA testing, most of their practices are very basic and won't prepare you for working at another company that might use industry standard software which can make getting a job somewhere else a bit tough - Benefits are okay at best, it seems like the health insurance kept getting worse for a couple years.
