Pros
At the time I worked there, the staff were very competent, hard-working and friendly. There was an overall positive attitude among employees and the environment was very team-oriented. The average employee was very passionate about what they did, and it showed in how they responded to issues and challenges. Many in the office were willing to go above and beyond to resolve issues once they arose, and that willingness to work hard gave the overall atmosphere that it was a positive organization.
Cons
Management was driven entirely by earnings/revenue. When issues arose, the tendency was to blame employees and accuse them of failing to care about the product and/or organization. There seemed to be a disconnect between how management perceived employee output and how the staff felt about their work; I heard many employees complain that management wasn't aware of how hard they were working, or what they needed in order to resolve problems quickly and with as little impact on the customer as possible. Eventually there seemed to develop a feeling of hopelessness, since many promises made by management (additional staffing, additional contractual work support, better communication with customers) never seemed to come to pass.
