Pros

Interesting work and good co-workers. Plenty of variety. Lots of things to learn. Pay was OK and there was a mileage allowance for use of your own vehicle.

Cons

The 2004 merger between PC Solutions and the other PC support company, which formed Quanexus, went horribly wrong. Several people either quit or were fired in the next year. So morale was low. The business was onsite technical support of small businesses. There was little or no documentation of the customer's computer systems. Most customers were too cheap to pay for computer repairs, and would suffer with a problem for weeks until the computer was totally unusable and the customer was up against a deadline. Which meant that the customer was frustrated and mad at the service technician before he even showed up. So you'd parachute into a situation where you were lucky to know the system's passwords, and nothing else, deal with an angry customer, and be expected to fix the problem yesterday while charging zero hours for the repair. Most customer's believed that you were trying to cheat them out of money when you suggested inexpensive ways to prevent problems.

Pros

Management is solid, especially middle management. They expect a lot, but are patient and provide excellent feedback. Able to accumulate a lot of vacation time in a little amount of time. They believe it giving people time off to relax. Relaxed atmosphere. Not much turn over. Never actively hiring, but always hire good people if they come along. They tend to give their employees a task and trust the employee to do it.

Cons

Pay and benefits are subpar (except time off). No 401K or retirement program of any kind, health insurance okay. No other benefits.
