Pros

• Salaries and administrative payments are always on time. • Flexibility regarding time-off requests, vacations, and personal matters. • High job stability: it is difficult to be terminated without due cause, especially if employees are aware of their labor rights. • Opportunity to collaborate with highly skilled and supportive teams, particularly those based in Canada.

Cons

• Local management is highly deficient, fostering an environment driven by fear and manipulation. • Severe lack of clear structures, stable procedures, and present leadership. • Questionable labor practices, including undue pressure on employees with medical leave and misrepresentation of labor rights. • Significant ethical concerns: improper handling of duty-free assets, and manipulation of data for corporate reporting purposes. • Major salary gaps: compensation is not aligned with the level of responsibility or market standards for similar roles. • Disconnect between the Canadian headquarters and local operations in Costa Rica, allowing internal issues to persist without effective resolution.

Pros

Many of the staff members are friendly, easy going, and are great to work with. Let me be clear, this does not include management.

Cons

Quantum is a underpaid, egotistical, misogyny nightmare. HR issues get swept under the rug, employees who don't do their job are praised and promoted, but the employees who do all the work and clean up after everyone are talked down to, under appreciated, underpaid, and left to the wolves.
