Enjoyable team experience overshadowed by soulless leadership - QA Specialist II Quarterhill Employee Review

I just started recently and have had a great welcome here at the office. I'm here 4 times a week and the office is close, great look and feel, people are warm and open, so far so good. Great benefits too, FTO is big for me so that's great to have.

Don't have much here, maybe one more flex day to work from home would be great.

The team that actually does work in Frisco and Canada are great but unfortunately both are slowly dwindling replaced with CEO, General Counsel and VP of Project Delivery "departments" favorite yes people.

The company suffers from a serious lack of long-term vision. Leadership has not provided a clear strategy or direction, and decisions often feel reactive rather than planned. Multiple rounds of layoffs have occurred without transparency, creating a culture of fear and favoritism. Employees often feel that personal dynamics and internal politics weigh more heavily than performance or contribution. The culture of fear and anxiety inducing reactivity is real and if you aren't in an absolute dire situation where you need a job, avoid at all costs.
