Pros

Once you prove yourself, they trust you to take on more responsibility and implement ideas that you care about. Lots of complex creative problem solving opportunities because every project/client/billing arrangement is different. You definitely cannot get bored and coworkers are fun and nice. No real interpersonal stress or people being "too close" to the point of drama. Offices are beautiful. Management are fun and approachable people and there is a lot of open communication. Even when errors occur, there is no "blame game" and everyone moves on quickly to begin resolving the issue instead of crucifying the person who made the mistake. This leads to really good communication and catching errors early because no one is scared of the reaction if they find an error. It is very team oriented. Great personal time policy and the hours are somewhat flexible within a range. I think my compensation is fair and I feel good about my pay & effort ratio. I am also really proud of our project output and I love showing people our work when they ask me about my job, because I think we genuinely make extremely cool projects.

Cons

No real cons. I suppose if you prefer an extreme early start and early finish to your workday (like 7am-4pm or something) you may not be able to do that every single day but you could probably still do it most or some days after working it out with your team and management. Other reviewers say that work stress can happen but I think it is more dependent on the individual mindset of the employee than on pressure from management. I consider myself to have a pretty great work/life balance and I do not really feel like that is encroached upon. I still manage to get to the gym every day and enjoy my evening with my family after work. I have stayed late a handful of times, but it was when I was doing something for the first time and moving slower/having more questions than usual or did not understand how much time a new task would take. It is really not that prevalent and it rarely happens now that I have a better handle on my duties and time management.
