Good Job - Production Worker RAM Mounts Employee Review

Coworkers are great to work with and have a positive attitude day in and day out.

Not many holidays off compared to other companies.

- I received a job offer for a full-time design position while I was still in college. Management was super flexible and let me intern for RAM during my last quarter of college remotely. -I met some really awesome, smart, and hard-working people and learned a lot. -Pay and benefits are nice! -CEO is a nice guy

There were a lot of red flags in management but my final straw was this: My first performance review was a conversation about how my hair didn’t look good in a zoom meeting from the week prior and that my glasses (I usually wear contacts) “added to the look.” My supervisor was passing along comments she had received from our director and was clearly uncomfortable with the subject. She, and the rest of the team, would often wear hoodies to these meetings and it had been made clear that when working from home we didn’t need to dress up. My supervisor would even join meetings after going on a run, the environment was very laid back. The projects I was working on weren’t discussed, the entire performance review was a discussion on what I looked like and it was extremely uncomfortable. I went to HR to document the incident and while they were supportive, management brushed off the incident and tried to make it seem like I was making things up, but in a toxic positivity way if that makes sense. I found a different job and quit RAM not long after this. Working at a company that has healthy interactions is like night and day. I didn’t realize how odd RAM was until I left.
