Pros
Decent pay for first 3 months while you are considered hourly.
Cons
You go from making $450 to $500 a week during your 3 months entry period to changing to piece rate where you more like $150 a week if you are lucky. Most projects only pay $.01-cents per scan, some pay $.05-cents each, if you are lucky you might get a project paying $.12-scan. I've been with them about a year, and watched my projects and pay in my area dwindle down to making only about $30 a week, if I am lucky. Not really worth the gas expense of driving 20 miles one way to the retail store. They also try to assign you stores that are outside a reasonable area, for example, you get asked to work a store that is 40 miles away one way. Or suddenly there is no work at all with only a 1 day or same day notice that there is no longer work in the stores that you cover. Also, get hired for a specific store/project and when I started, get another lower paying but more detail involved project without ever being told, it just appeared on my schedule. I went for several months without any work at all. And when you have a payroll issue it's a nightmare to get fixed. I am still arguing over a pay issue from over a year ago.
