Pros

I have been employed with RNR for quite some time now. I have experienced working in the office and on the road as an attendant. Either job isn’t for everyone ! But what I can tell you is that this company cares about all of its employees, every single one of them! I’ve seen it with my own eyes and ears. Unfortunately those that give negative reviews are likely those that like to buck the system, and have been caught doing so. There is no employer that should or would put up with individuals that want to get paid and not work to earn their pay check! I’ve found the management very easy to deal with, if you do your job! They are very flexible with attendants schedules because management knows that the job isn’t perfect. The schedule is ruled by the hospitals and their demands for service. When hired this information is provided and explained upfront. The training is extensive and if someone needs to be retrained it never a problem.

Cons

Attendants shifts can suck because you do t have a set shift BUT you know that right from the get go so if you can’t handle it Don’t sign up in the dirst place. !

Pros

This company is 100% focused on providing Patient Transfers as their main business. Great people. A great stepping stone for paramedic or fire students or anyone in the health industry. If you follow the policies and procedures then you won't have any problems. Pay is comparable or higher then other Patient Transfer companies. Overtime is paid as per MOL guidelines. Time off between shifts follow MOL guidelines. You can CHOOSE to work up to 60 hrs/week But you don't have to ! Paid for being on Stand-By while on shift. You DO NOT have to be on stand by for 24 hours ? Vehicles are maintained above MOT guidelines and are serviced asap or they are taken off the road. Training is extensive, if you need help then speak up and ask for it or ask to be retrained, it's that easy! Management and team leaders do runs and are all very approachable and that really makes this company a team.

Cons

No set shifts, start times can vary and shifts are staggered but that's the nature of this industry. Would be nice if wages were higher but are dictated by the industry and government contracts.
