Pros
- strong focus on improvement and eduction. Devel leaders always focus on finding ways "how to do things better" and they study a lot about the other companies, technologies - huge improvement in bureaucracy/obstacles. It may depend on your leader, but everything I asked was possible - education, study time, home office, vacation, project ownership, getting me more into the business decisions and if not, the leader gave me enough time to explain why. - big product management and technology passion - multi-national company, colleagues from UK, BR, UAE, IN that you can be in touch any time, talk, consult, there are no blockers - leaders really spend their time when you want something, I've never felt that I'm not getting an answer. But of course, it's important to be proactive, it's not like babysitting here :)
Cons
- there are still some processes that the company seems to be not good at - the vision switch (that happened during the past year) required big patience but it makes perfect sense
