Pros
Open to change and new ideas. Initially interested in rapid growth and development. A strong foundation of granting authority and accountability in equal measure. An environment where doing the right thing was second nature.
Cons
Corporate staff wanted no contact with customers or employees. This created a "disconnect" in what was supposed to be a service-based business. It also created communication challenges between corporate staff and field staff.
