Easy to take days off when needed. Well-establishes programs. Job security. Workcan be easy or challenging depending on your drive. Opportunities for career advancement if in right position and timing. Many senior engineers willing to mentor. Management supports changing jobs internally to find passion
Cons
Takes awhile to move up in ranking. Difficult to obtain above average raises at beginning of career. Easy to get stuck in a position that is monotonous. A lot of managers and manager shuffling for whatever reason. Great disconnect between “higher ups”and junior engineers. Departments very independent.
