They might offer you a 6-month contract, with no benefits immediately after. This happened to me. It's a surreal feeling to see an office with like 7 empty desks because the whole team was laid off years ago. The guy who laid me off was laid off himself later. I don't have words to describe how performatively progressive and sleezy this company is. Can be a pretty miserable place.
