Upper-management loves to make it seem like creativity is welcomed and encouraged, when in fact you most likely will be shot down with every idea that you come up with, simply because it was not their idea. They tell you that they want you to take charge on a project, but then they micro-manage and tell you that you don’t know what you’re talking about. When this happens multiple times, it’s hard to keep coming up with new ideas because you’ll most likely be shot down. This does not encourage growth for the employees or the company as a whole, so I'm not sure why they do it.
To add to that, they are very scatter-brained and will come up with a million ideas and expect you to do what they want, even though they don’t even know what they want.
Also, for all of the things that you do correctly, even if you go above and beyond, don’t expect to get any credit for those.
Lastly, all of the employees are greatly underpaid for their work and could probably find another job doing the same thing in Atlanta for at least 20k more.
