Pros
Been with company for 4yrs plus now, seen the good and the bad. I want to share a more balanced perspective cos some of the recent reviews leans heavily towards frustration without context. There are real challenges, of course, as if with any work. Workload can be high in certain periods, and some team are lean, which leads to people taking on broader responsibilities. That being said, describing the environment as having “no support,” “no structure,” or being entirely “toxic” does not reflect the full reality. From my experience, issues raised consistently and backed with data do get attention. It might not be immediate, but it is not ignored. HR function is to balance both employee and business needs. Expecting HR to act purely in the employee’s favor all the time is unrealistic. Existing process and SOPS are in place.Consistency of enforcement varies across team. It is incorrect to say they do not exist. This is not a passive environment, If employees do not surface issues clearly, management will assume operations are stable because targets are still being met. If nothing is raised, nothing gets addressed. Simple as that. To me this is a shared responsibility between the employees and managers. This is a place where results come from putting in effort and pushing for improvements. for those willing to work toward goals and stay engaged, there is room to shape outcomes and grow. As other has pointed out, salaries are always on time. You will have good exposure to real operation needs and decision making. Bunch of colleagues that are supporting each other. Opportunity to take ownership and grow if u stay consistent.
Cons
Workload distribution can vary at times. Employees need to be proactive as this is not a low effort environment
