Pros
If you can do the work and deal with the working overtime without getting paid overtime, they’ll love you
Cons
Mgmt is always new and never knows what’s going on. Every year, they all get changed out and take the various orgs down a new path which requires reorgs, layoffs, and new procedures. When they tell you to be prepared for change they mean it. It’s going to come at you from every direction all the time. Also, if you do well, then you’ll be expected to train everyone - new team members and especially those new mgmt people they just brought on. Consistency and stability are not found here. Also they’re sticklers to not promote unless you meet all the minimum requirements so even if you rock your job, you need to put in your time so don’t go balls to the wall to impress everyone and in turn burn yourself out.
