Pros
It seems like a good work and laid back work environment. Sometimes the CEO brings in his dogs which is fun.
Cons
First, it’s a weird boys club where you have to like mountain biking to fit in. Leadership skips out of work every day, regardless of how much work there is, to go mountain biking, then attacks anyone they can for work not being done. Girls are not invited on these trips and they’re literally treated like a receptionist from Mad Men. Just objects with no real value. This is a company that is all about cutting corners. The CEO is obsessed with selling the company, so he tries to dress it up to make it seem competitive/desirable to acquire, and that includes what I would consider making ethically questionable decisions with research and sales. While the company isn’t necessarily in anyone’s pocket, they definitely spin research to have a questionable narrative. This is not a merit based company. Kiss butt, tell the CEO his hair-brained ideas are genius, stay late watching Netflix do your hours are impressive, and you’ll be promoted. That’s 100% what it takes. Bring new ideas and work hard, and you’ll be beat the brunt of an extremely toxic workplace.
